Hi All, I had also hoped to join the Reunion, but was unavoidably out of the country. I've heard that it was a great time. Looking forward to the 50th. A quick update on us. We lived in Cincinnati (with P&G) for 14 years, then did 8 years in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, after which we moved to the Denver area. Life here is good. I'm active in the Innovation field, with a fund, various consulting services, and several startups. I'm also active on several Boards and in philanthropy for spinal cord research and scholarships for disabled students. My wife, Betty, was a School Psychologist in our pre-Asia days, and has volunteered and tended to our flock since. We regularly enjoy Broncos games and take frequent advantage of our proximity to the Mountains. Oldest son, Brian, is located in CT, just finished renovating a circa 1745 house in New Canaan, and had his first child one year ago. Middle child, David, is a Chemical Engineer with Phillips 66 in OK and has shown awesome determination after being seriously paralyzed in a ski accident freshman year in college. And youngest, Laura, is an impassioned teacher of Spanish and History in the Denver area, and is the biggest Broncos fan of the bunch. It looks like there are several classmates in CO -- we'll have to pull off a Western mini-reunion! |

Comment: Time flies, doesn’t it? I have two wonderful sons in CO, one stepson in CA, a stepdaughter in MA, and eight grandchildren. We moved to Cape Cod in 2015, and love it. We travel to visit family, love to sail and go off-roading on the beach, and just enjoy the wonders of Cape Cod. We are blessed with good health (fingers crossed!) |

Planning to come to the 45th Reunion at this moment, but it's a long way away. Enjoying life in Florida. Working at an Assisted Living Facility grateful that I'm not living there yet but I'm learning a lot. Just moved to a new condo in March - smaller and on one floor so I intend to stay here in my "old age". Some days it seems like I'm already in my "old age". Drive a VW Beetle (like in High School but newer) and a Honda Shadow 600. Love that motorcycle! Thank you Jennifer for the heads up on the reunion and for the hard work of the committee to pull it all together. Oh yea, I have 3 cats and no kids.

Many years and memories have passed since graduation. I remember all the foolish things I did at DHS and now at the final stagges of my life I wish I could apologize to anyone I did harm to or made uncomfortable. I have been able to find a few who I asked forgiveness from so I guess I'm not a total loss. A real eye opener was my vacation to South East Asia where I learned to eat and sleep in the rain. and keep my head down in the lead storm. One hit to my right arm gave me a real wakeup call. Marines look nice but I would rather go to school. I left the Marines in 1973 and graduated "with honors" in 1977. Thanks to Agent Orange I now have Diabetes and a Skin desease called Chloreacne. Other things too but I better make amends before it is too late--Thanks for listening Jim 2012 |
