Comment: Wish I could be there for our 50th reunion but we're recovering from back surgery and unable to make the trip up to CT.  Would love to see everyone

My wife and I haved raised 4 children and have been blessed with 14 grandchildren which keeps us pretty busy.  I moved to GA 12 years ago for work and family reasons.  All of the kids moved south after college and started their families down here as well as a job opportunity presented itself here in GA so I said why not.

Hope you all have a great reunion

Grace Johnston (Joynt)

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Interior Design
Comment: We are still living in Texas, closer to the water (and the boats).  I am still working on some interior design projects and we travel often to SoCal where daughter and son-in-law have birthed twin grandsons who are 3...and are adding boy - girl twins in December!

Sandy McGill wrote a "prophecy piece" in my yearbook and I often marvel at how close to the truth it has become.

The title was "The Story of the Successful Nun".

I am NOT a nun but my spiritual journey would confirm Sandy's prediction.

I will miss the 50th ...another trip to California!

Hope you all have a great time.

Photo is our son, daughter, son-in-law and the twin grandsons.

Comment: Hi All, I had also hoped to join the Reunion, but was unavoidably out of the country. I've heard that it was a great time. Looking forward to the 50th.

A quick update on us. We lived in Cincinnati (with P&G) for 14 years, then did 8 years in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, after which we moved to the Denver area. Life here is good. I'm active in the Innovation field, with a fund, various consulting services, and several startups. I'm also active on several Boards and in philanthropy for spinal cord research and scholarships for disabled students. My wife, Betty, was a School Psychologist in our pre-Asia days, and has volunteered and tended to our flock since. We regularly enjoy Broncos games and take frequent advantage of our proximity to the Mountains.

Oldest son, Brian, is located in CT, just finished renovating a circa 1745 house in New Canaan, and had his first child one year ago. Middle child, David, is a Chemical Engineer with Phillips 66 in OK and has shown awesome determination after being seriously paralyzed in a ski accident freshman year in college. And youngest, Laura, is an impassioned teacher of Spanish and History in the Denver area, and is the biggest Broncos fan of the bunch.

It looks like there are several classmates in CO -- we'll have to pull off a Western mini-reunion!

WOW!!!

Can't believe it's been 45 years (and I haven't been to one of these before) - my bad.

After WAY too many years of partying, finally settled down in the Richmond, VA area.  Met Amy, had a couple of kids, still working - having kids later in life will do that to you!!!  The pic of the four of us is a little old but still reasonably accurate.  (we're terrible at taking pictures)

Daughter Sarah, now 21, will be a Sr. at VA Tech - intends to be a Chemistry teacher.  Played travel and high school soccer.  Like her Mom, loves animals and loves to ride (horses) - grew up riding with her Mom.   Just came back from a month-long trip to S. Africa.

Son Kris, now 19 and almost 20, played travel hockey for years - very talented athelete and hockey player, but got a little burnt out and stopped after high school.  Timing was bad for college, so he's at the local community college & planning on transferring.  Right now, the bum is living and surfing in OBX (Outer Banks) this summer and working at a surf shop - must be nice!!!

Other than work, I play a little golf & collect golf memorabilia, drink too much wine, and try to not take life too seriously.  Amy works for Cap One and loves to ride (horses - since she was a young girl).  Has a horse (Sally), foxhunts, does a little showing, etc.  I used to ride but don't right now.

I've been blessed with good health (other than falling down stairs and destroying knees), a wonderful wife and two great kids.  Saddens me greatly to see those who have passed!  Looking forward to seeing those who haven't at the reunion.
