I have returned to Darien to live fulltime with my mom - there is not a day that goes by that we do not share a good laugh. See you all in a couple of weeks! |

Comment: Still kicking here in New Jersey--moving to North or South Carolina by 2017! Trying to travel as much as possible in this uncertain world in which we live. I have discovered after losing a child that I'm no longer afraid of anything, except perhaps the US Government. Cheers! |

Comment:
After quite an adventurous and varied career path, I founded and still operate the first two catering halls in Virginia. As I mentioned in an earlier communication, I recently finished writing a novel entitled "Green" which starts out in Darien (mostly at Wee Burn CC) back in 1969. It was originally a film script that was optioned by a major Hollywood producer, but of course never developed. Who knows? Maybe someday it'll be published and then even come out as a movie. In the meantime, I'm always happy to send you a digital copy for your E-reader. Still get together with my old friend Walt Tuthill, usually for skiing in Vail, where we recently had the opportunity to briefly reconnect with Vandy Van Wagener. By the way, congratulations to Mark and John Tinker, John Falsey, Gus Van Sant and other fellow Darienites for their extraordinary success in Hollywood. One of the funniest things ever was the night back in the 80's when I was watching a Falsey written show called "A Year in the Life" and a character started talking about his old shop teacher, a guy named "Sulphur Breath" Webb. Bring back any memories, Middlesex grads?
